This backpack surprised me very pleasantly. The individual compartments are functional. The straps are intact. The zipper of the lower tool compartment has a hook-and-loop fastener to lock the zipper so that the load does not open it during the ride due to its own weight. The lower pocket includes a removable organizer. When the backpack goes on a hiking trip, I just throw it out completely, put it back in before the ride, and during servicing it serves as a clean pad for tools and parts. One inner pocket has a sophisticated carabiner for keys. The felt pocket (for glasses/cycling computer) hides the tightening of the helmet strap (I have not used the helmet strap yet). The zippers of all zippers have solid skins, into which your finger runs by itself. The skins are flashy => visual inspection of the fastening of all zippers is a matter of one look at the backpack.

I was worried that the pockets on the waist belt would cause extra sweating, but they are quite thin, so it's OK. I use them as a feeder with dried fruit and nuts. My back sweats even without a backpack, so of course I'm completely wet with a backpack, so I can't evaluate the ventilation.

The magnetic chest strap can be operated with just one hand if the end of the hydro bag hose is attached to its buckle. There is a small drawback that when I breathe more, the strap tightens and the hose disconnects from the magnetic hook. I guess this doesn't happen to slimmer figures (I'm 190/90). A couple of cm longer hose would help. I was afraid that the chest strap would tear out of the height-adjustable mount - but that doesn't happen at all.
The compression straps (used when the backpack is empty) are detachable, so you can easily reach into the backpack and both "open" pockets without having to constantly loosen and tighten them.

I highly appreciate the way the hydration bladder is built. The simplicity of putting the bag on is brilliant - open one zipper, which is common to both the bag and the hose; hang the bag on the inner loop in the backpack; close the zipper and you're done. No need to pull through the shells and endlessly jam the silicone mouthpiece. So if you don't want to throw the hose over your other shoulder - that option is there, but you have to pull the hose through one hole and the shell.
The hydration bladder is easy to fill and empty, and it seals perfectly. The small disadvantage is that you can't simply disconnect the hose, but at least I don't have to worry about any leaks. The mouthpiece doesn't drip at all - even when I empty it while driving :P. The hydration bladder and the water from it smell a bit artificial - probably like from any other bag. I saw on YouTube that the bag changed color when used with effervescent tablets and iso-drinks, so now I'm afraid to pour anything other than clean water into it. In the winter, I fill it with lukewarm water - it stays drinkable for a few hours. You just can't let it cool down, let alone freeze in the hose (after drinking in the winter, I always blow the water back into the bag).

The service compartment can hold an MTB tube, multi-wrench, glue, levers, a raincoat for the backpack (Osprey Hi-Vis) and a small first aid kit. Small items such as keys, glasses, gloves, a hat, a cycle computer, arm/leg warmers will quite reliably fill two smaller compartments. The size of the backpack should be chosen according to the intended use. Surprisingly few things can fit into the large compartment of this 14-liter model when the hydration bladder is full. A maximum of one softshell jacket and food for a whole day for one person. Don't count on it fitting something for your partner or wife. If I want to pack a thermos, I have to choose whether I want food, clothes, a hydration bladder or tea. True, without a hydration bladder there is enough space for everything.

Tento batoh ma veeelmi prijemne prekvapil. Jednotlive oddelenia su funkcne. Popruhy ucelne. Zips dolneho oddelenia na naradie ma zicher-hacik na zamknutie bezca, aby ho naklad vlastnou hmotnostou nerozopol pocas jazdy. Sucastou dolneho vrecka je odnimatelny organizer. Ked ide batoh na pesiu turu, tak ho odtial iba cely vyhodim, pred jazdou vlozim, pocas servisovania sluzi ako cista podlozka na naradie a diely. Jedno vnutorne vrecko ma prepracovanu karabinu na kluce. V plstenom vrecku (na okuliare/cyklokomp) je schovane utahovanie putka na prilbu (putko na prilbu som zatial nepouzil). Bezce vsetkych zipsov maju pevne slupky, do ktorych vbehne prst sam od seba. Slupky su kriklave => vizualna kontrola zapnutia vsetkych zipsov je vec jedneho pohladu na batoh.

Bal som sa, ze kapsicky na bedrovom pase budu sposobovat extra potenie, ale su pomerne tenke, takze je to OK. Pouzivam ich ako krmitko so susenym ovocim a orechmi. Mne sa chrbat poti aj bez batohu, takze s batohom som samozrejme mokry uplne, odvetravanie teda neviem zhodnotit.

Magneticky prsny pas sa da ovladat aj len jednou rukou a k jeho pracke sa prichytava koniec hadice hydrovaku. Tam je maly nedostatok, ze ked sa viac nadychnem, tak pas zapruzi a hadica sa odpoji od magnetickeho zavesu. Asi sa to nedeje utlejsim postavam (mam 190/90). Pomohla by o par cm dlhsia hadica. Bal som sa, ze hrudny pas sa bude vytrhavat z vyskovo nastavitelneho uchytenia - ale to sa vobec nedeje.
Kompresne popruhy (pouzitie pri prazdnejsom batohu) su rozopinatelne, takze clovek sa lahko dostane do batohu aj do oboch "otvorenych" vreciek a nemusi ich dokola povolovat a utahovat.

Vysoko pozitivne hodnotim sposob zabudovania hydrovaku. Jednoduchost zakladania vaku je genialna - otvori sa jeden zips, ktory je spolocny pre vak aj hadicu; vak sa zavesi na vnutorne putko v batohu; zavrie sa zips a hotovo. Ziadne prevliekanie slupkami a nekonecne zasekavanie silikonoveho naustku. Teda v pripade, ak clovek nechce prehodit hadicu na druhe plece - ta moznost tu je, ale treba uz prevliekat hadicu cez jeden otvor a slupku.
Hydrovak sa lahko plni, aj vylieva, vyborne tesni. Mala nevyhoda, ze nejde jednoducho odpojit hadica, ale aspon nemam strach z pripadnych netesnosti. Naustok vobec nekvapka - ani ked ho plny za jazdy vyplujem :P. Hydrovak a voda z neho je trochu citit umelinou - asi ako z kazdeho vaku. Na youtube som videl, ze pri pouziti so sumivymi tabletami a iso-napojmi vak zmenil farbu, tak sa teraz bojim donho naliat nieco ine ako cistu vodu. V zime plnim vlaznou vodou - vydrzi par hodin pitelna. Len ju nesmie clovek nechat vychladnut, natoz zmrznut v hadici (po odpiti v zime vzdy vyfuknem vodu naspat do vaku).

Servisne oddelenie pojme MTB dusu, multikluc, lepenie, paky, plastenku do dazda na batoh (Osprey Hi-Vis) a malu lekarnicku. Drobnosti ako kluce, okuliare, rukavice, ciapka, cyklo-pocitac, navleky na ruky/nohy celkom spolahlivo vyplnia dve mensie oddelenia. Velkost batohu si treba vybrat podla zamyslaneho pouzitia. Do velkeho oddelenia tohto 14 litroveho modelu sa zmesti prekvapivo malo veci, ked je plny hydrovak. Maximalne jedna softshell bunda a jedlo na cely den pre jedneho. Neratajte, ze sa k tomu zmesti este nieco pre partaka ci manzelku. Ak chcem pribalit termosku, musim si vybrat, ci nechcem jedlo, oblecenie, hydrovak alebo caj. Pravda, bez hydrovaku je miesta dost na vsetko.

The best backpack in my collection, including the hiking pieces and its predecessor, which is a pretty good 12l piece from a French sports supermarket, but it was too small for me.
It has gadgets everywhere, plenty of space, the ventilation works even on me, who sweats like a barn door. I can put everything in there for a summer day, it even holds the magnet for my hydropack mouthpiece.
It has both "minuses", namely, there are so many compartments that I spent a long time looking for everything at first, but that's a temporary minus. And the hose could really be 3cm longer and detachable. Oh, and the hip belt could have a wider strap and adjustable ends, but I'm already digging into the details.
Otherwise, it's a piece of quality workmanship and materials used, I'm glad I chose this one.

Najlepší batoh v mojej zbierke, a to rátam aj turistické kusy aj predchodcu, čo je celkom vydarený 12l kúsok z francúzskeho športsupermarketu, ktorý bol ale pre mňa objemovo malý.
Vychytávky má všade, miesta požehnane, odvetranie funkčné aj na mne, čo sa potím ako dvere od chlieva. Dám tam všetko aj na letnú celodenku, dokonca mi drží aj ten magnet na náustok hydropacku.
Má fešák aj "mínusy", konkrétne je tam toľko oddelení, že som zozačiatku všetko dlho hľadal, ale to je taký mínus dočasný. No a hadica by ozaj mohla byť o 3cm dlhšia a odopínacia. Jaj, a bedrový pás by mohol mať širší popruh a zapravovacie konce, ale to už rýpem do detailov.
Inak je to kus kvalitnej roboty a použitých materiálov, teším sa, že som si vybral zrovna tento.

My colleague tpl described the features and functionality perfectly, so I'm adding a few photos.

The only thing that bothers me is that when you tighten the straps, there is no elastic band on the "excess" strap to secure it and it just "flies" in the wind. That's the only flaw with the backpack.

Kolega tpl dokonalo popísal vlastnosti a funkcionalitu tak ja pridávam zopár foto.

Jediné čo mi vadí tak ako si doťahujete popruhy tak na “prebytočný” popruh tam nie je gumička na zaistenie a len tak “veje” vo vetre. To je jediná chyba batohu.

After a very long time, a mega maxi extra good backpack! I highly recommend it for both mtb and hiking. I bought it on recommendations and therefore I do not regret it at all. Enough space, clear layout, sits very comfortably on the back and ventilates well. It can be tightened well so that it does not fly.

Po veľmi dlhej dobe mega maxi extra dobrý ruksak! Vrelo odporúčam aj na mtb aj na turistiku. Kupoval som na odporúčania a teda vôbec neľutujem.Dostatok miesta, prehľadné usporiadanie, veľmi príjemne sedí na chrbát a dobre vetrá. Dá sa dobre podoťahovať, aby nelietal.

Attention to detail, perfect workmanship... it was worth taking the risk online - the video review helped. I recommend... fits perfectly, excellent back ventilation, tool compartment is a godsend.

Premakany do detailov, spracovanie perfektné... oplatilo sa zariskovať cez internet - pomohla videorecenzia. Odporúčam... perfektne sedí, vynikajúce odvetranie chrbta, priečinok na náradie eňo ňuňo.

Výborná voľba. Spĺňa všetko čo som od batohu očakával. V podstate môžem len súhlasiť s ostatnými recenziami. Všetko podstatné tu už bolo napísané.

Velmi prakticky a pohodlny ruksak. Osobne by mi nevadilo, keby bol o nieco vacsi.

unnecessarily complicated backpack for those who love to look for things in different compartments. The hose is nicely hidden under the zipper, it's just a shame that it's brought out on the opposite side than I'm used to the backpack sits well on my back as it has a mesh over the entire back, but compared to the back system of the deuter compact backpack, my back was already sweating at home I'm also surprised by the use of only a 2.5 l reservoir, while there is enough space for 3 l. For a backpack for all-day trips, this is another minus. The workmanship is otherwise of high quality and the backpack looks good. The negatives prevailed - the backpack was returned.

zbytocne prekomplikovany batoh pre milovnikov hladania veci v roznych priecinkoch. hadica je pekne skryta pod zipsom, len skoda ze je vyvedena na opacnu stranu ako som zvyknuty batoh sedi dobre na chrbte nakolko ma sietku po celej ploche zadnej strany, ale v porovnani s chrbtovym systemom batohu deuter compact sa mi spotil chrbat uz doma zaraza ma aj pouzitie len 2,5 l rezervoaru pricom priestoru na 3 l je tam dost. pri batohu na celodenne vyjazdy je to dalsie minus. spracovanie je inak kvalitne a batoh vyzera dobre. negativa prevladli - batoh vrateny.
